Yeah, it's not bad per se, but the thing that was making him stand out from the other isekai mc's *was* that he was a farmer. But the way they're making it seem is that he's getting "pulled" away from his farmer life.

At this rate, he's about to be an adventurer with the job title farmer.

Well i dont know if id call it an isekai but goblin slayer is abit harder too put in a genre other than dark fantasy&high fantasy.
But the characters are clearly DnD characters and the gods that roll the dice too decide the fates.
is just players and game master thats doing safety rolls etc soo its abit hard too put that into a genre

I am tired of all the stupid in this anime. The princess follows him to dangerous places. It cant keep things it showed earlier straight. He was at like 70,000+ attack power in the first episode, and then in this one he says he has 50,000. Secretary gives him basically the most important item she owns without knowing who he is randomly. The princess doesn't seem to know the most dangerous dragon in existence is in her Kingdom. Why would the guild not tell the Royalty? This feels like it was written by 10 year olds.

I feel ya, that's why I'm really excited for the anime of Isekai Nonbiri Nouka at Winter 2023. It's gives more farming aspect, mixed with action that this one. But still though, I think this one is pretty good.

First time? I have noticed this trend with so many isekai manga. There are some that have MC background from middle-age worker, professional assassin, etc. Those people, under normal circumstances, would be way more mature than freshman high schooler. Yet every time they get isekai-ed, their personality would turn into generic MC after one or two chapters.

At least with the assassin one, he keeps his professional demeanor. Though, I'm sure the goddess in that show could have at least told him who his target was besides just "the hero."

I was kind of hoping that the plant that was used to make potions kind of held his interest and became a thing since it would express his knowledge about soil and farming. I feel like that was a missed opportunity. I also wished there was more to what he found which aided him in reviving the wastland.

I was thinking Helen is actually Ouroboros with her memory loss coinciding with its appearance but she was running away from it when she was a child so I wonder if it is it's own existence or somehow she's been possessed by it.

I thought it was amusing how Helen's VA Ookubo Rumi is playing another guild receptionist, I think this might be her third or fourth but in this season she's also voicing Nell in Reincarnated as a Sword.
